HCL Technologies extended its gains on the NSE ahead of the close on Tuesday. At 3.05 p.m. it was the top gainer, quoting at Rs 1,470.40, up 3.83 per cent on its earlier close of Rs 1,416.15.
Ranbaxy Labs made rapid gains to quote at Rs 352.15, up 3.22 per cent on its previous close of Rs 341.15.
Tata Motors continued to trade on a firm note to hold gains of over 3 per cent in late trading. It was quoting at Rs 375.45 as against Rs 364.05 at close on Monday. This represented a gain of 3.13 per cent.
JP Associates made gains of 1.65 per cent to trade at Rs 39.95 near the close. It had closed the previous session at Rs 39.30.
ONGC made gains of 1.40 per cent by close. It was trading at Rs 276.05 as against Rs 272.25 at close yesterday.
