Sanofi India has elevated N Rajaram as Managing Director, effective January 1, and he will be succeeding Shailesh Ayyangar, who will take up a regional role within Sanofi Asia. Rajaram joined Sanofi in February 2014 and was appointed whole-time director in October 2015, the company said in a statement. He was managing director for over 12 years and will also continue as a non-executive director on the board. The stock of Sanofi India closed 0.21 per cent higher at ₹4,624.10 on the NSE but down 0.26 per cent at ₹4,600.60 on the BSE.
