Shares of Cox & Kings will be in demand next week as the company on Friday reported an over 10-fold rise in net profit at ₹31 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2013, compared with the same period of the previous financial year, mainly due to a surge in demand for education travel. Net profit stood at ₹3 crore in the corresponding period last year, the travel company said in a release. Net sales improved 15 per cent at ₹408 crore during the quarter, against ₹357 crore in the year-ago period.
