Tuesday will see two big IT firms coming out their quarterly and yearly financial performance. After TCS’ weak numbers, Street expectations on IT firms are rather muted due to cross-currency fluctuations. HCL Technologies is seen reporting a drop of about 5 per cent in consolidated net profits. Wipro's net profit is expected to shrink marginally by 3-5 per cent. If they surprise the market, IT stocks will also see buying interest.
