Kochi’s technology incubator Startup Village, which turned two this month, is stepping up its incubation support system with a leadership programme that will provide business mentoring for entrepreneurs.
Major technology companies will be involved with the mentoring programme which will be guided by the Village’s Chief Mentor Kris Gopalakrishnan.
“Two years ago we started with just two companies and today we are supporting around 600,” Sijo Kuruvilla George, the CEO of the Village, noted in a press statement. “Our goal is to make Kerala one of the top five start-up destinations in the world and to that end we are constantly looking to improve the ecosystem here.”
The Village was now trying to get the most successful global technology companies to advise Kerala entrepreneurs on strategy and leadership, George said.
