Retirement fund body EPFO is likely to consider a proposal to increase the proportion of its investments in exchange traded funds (ETFs) in its trustees' meet on Tuesday. At present, EPFO invests just 5 per cent of investible deposits in ETFs.
State finance ministers are to meet in New Delhi today to discuss the GST (Goods and Services Tax) Act. They would give their opinions to the GST Council so that the suggestions could be taken into consideration before the Bill is tabled in the Rajya Sabha.
Gionee is to launch its M6 smartphone that will feature an encrypted chip inside it. The chip will protect the data stored inside the phone with encryption, which includes call records, photos, documents, notes and other information. Gionee claims data will be protected in a way that no other phone can match.
Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will hold a meeting with Lok Sabha MPs in the Capital on the issue of development guidelines in red zones. Red zones are areas around defence establishments such as ammunition depots and ammunition factories where construction is not allowed.
Mercedes-Benz is to launch the Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 in India on Tuesday. The SLC will replace the SLK 55 AMG. It was first launched at the Detroit Motor show early this year.
