Kenes Exhibitions and the Government of Telangana are organising the fifth edition of the Agritex 2017 here from Thursday. The three-day event will see global and national players showcasing their products and services in agri and allied sectors.
This exhibition-cum-conference would also have 30 start-ups presenting their products and services.
“The conference will focus on agriculture, horticulture, dairy, and food processing and aqua culture. It event will showcase new trends and developments in the agriculture sector,” Prema Zilberman, Director of Kenes Exhibitions, has said.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner in Hyderabad, said the UK was pioneering in new approaches to agriculture. Science and big data had been changing the face of agriculture. Several UK firms were investing in the sector, he said.
