The iconic landmark structure of Kolkata, Howrah Bridge has donned the colour of the ICC World Twenty20 India 2016.
ICC in a statement said that from Wednesday the bridge has been lit up in the most prominent colour in the event logo for the duration of the tournament.
Kolkata will host three matches in the Super10s round and the grand finale on April 3 at the Eden Gardens.
“The magenta-hued Howrah Bridge will keep up the excitement levels in a city”, ICC said. The bridge also would display logo of the tournament on its two sides.
