Karnataka Department of Tourism has announced a special summer trip package between April to June 2017 to attract families aboard to its luxury train ‘The Golden Chariot’.
The summer package is a 2 Nights 1 Day package to be run every weekend, starting on Friday evening (March 31) from Bengaluru and returning on Sunday (April 2) morning.
These are for two destinations – Mysuru and Hampi. It is aimed to offer the luxury and experience of Golden Chariot to the Indian Tourists, who want to experience luxury as well as visit the heritage sights at Mysuru and Hampi, at a very affordable price.
The Mysuru trip will start from Bengaluru and cover Srirangapattana, Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, Jayalakshmi Vilas Palace, Amba Vilas Palace and Brindavana Garden or Lalith Mahal Palace.
The Hampi trip also starts from Bengaluru and will cover Hampi- Hemakuta Hill, Virupaksha Temple, Elephant Stables, Lotus Mahal Royal enclosure, Hazara Rama Temple, Queens bath, Vijaya Vittala Temple complex, Marvel Stone Chariot and Thugabadhra river sunset view.
Golden Chariot is offering both these packages at only Rs 30,000 per person and the fare includes food, accommodation, guide fees, entrance fees, cultural programs and curated/guided sightseeing.
