Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stone for Rs 15,000-crore National Highway projects in Rajasthan on August 29.
“The prime minister is scheduled to visit Udaipur on August 29... The PM will inaugurate and do bhoomi poojan for NH projects worth Rs 15,000 crore in Rajasthan... He will dedicate to the nation 11 completed National Highway projects totalling a length of about 873 km,” the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said in a statement.
The 11 projects include a 6-lane Cable Stayed Bridge across river Chambal at Kota. These are at Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Pali, Nagaur, Barmer, Sikar, Churu, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Barmer.
In addition, he will perform bhoomi poojan for six NH projects of about 556 km, the statement said.
