Global defence major including Sikorsky, Embraer, Thales India, Finmeccanica/Augusta Westland, Airbus, Eurocopter, Dassault, UTC, Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, and the IAMF (Israeli Aerospace Manufacturing Federation) will take part in the second defence & aerosupply India 2015.
The three-day global aviation conclave scheduled for November 30 - December 2 will discuss opportunities and challenges faced by the industry and shortlisted start-ups get an opportunity to present their solutions. It will be hosted by the Telangana Government and the Kenes Exhibitions, Israel. The State government wants to focus on how it is the new investment hub in the defence and aerospace engineering domain.
The conclave aims to bring global companies with focus on technologies, high-end products and expanding their supplier’s base to explore new business opportunities in the Indian market. Start-ups in the areas of Composite Materials, Data Management, Management & Monitoring Systems, Digital Manufacturing, Engineering and Design and Photonics are expected to take part.
V K Saraswat, former secretary, Deptartment of Defence R&D & Scientific Adviser to Raksha Mantri, Itzhak Nissan, former CEO & President of Israel Aerospace India will deliver the keynote address at the seminar.
