The three-day India Geospatial Forum 2013 will begin here on Tuesday. It will be held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre at Madhapur.

The Union Minister for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences will inaugurate the conference.

“India Geospatial Forum will focus on mission mode projects and the latest technological advancements. With the theme Towards Geo-enabled Economy, the conference aims at bringing forth the role of geospatial technologies in realising national development goals,” an organiser said here in a statement.

The event would deliberate issues such as building a National Data Repository, web applications, open source and GIS for enterprises.
