Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has joined sports consultancy firm Spartan International as investor and member advisory board.
Ravi Thakran-owned Spartan International has grown to become known as an innovative product developer across a broad range of sports including cricket, all football disciplines, netball, basketball, besides a wide range of health & fitness products, including, an active shoes and apparel range.
Sachin Tendulkar has joined as an investor and will serve on the Advisory Board alongside Chris Gayle, Kunal Sharma, Managing Director & Founder of Spartan Sports and Ravi Thakran.
Sachin would also be advising Spartan on enhancing safety using technology and innovation across all sporting equipment designed and manufactured by Spartan. Sachin and the Spartan management will endeavour to make sports safer and bring more people into a sporting way of life.
In January 2016, Australia headquarter Spartan also launched the first global Virtual Sports Club, The Spartan Cricket Club.
Spartan Cricket Club provides a unique global forum including a wide range of services dedicated to promoting cricket amongst cricket communities and fans around the world. Sachin will join us at Spartan providing his leadership with the Spartan Cricket Club in further developing sport and healthy living around the world.
