BSE listed Suditi Industries has bagged the official apparel licensing right for Arsenal F.C. in India. This is the company’s third deal in the space of sports apparel after FIFA and Real Madrid CF.
Pawan Agarwal, CMD, Suditi Industries Ltd said, “Acquiring rights for Arsenal seals our third deal in the sports apparel space after FIFA and Real Madrid. The deals continue to strengthen our commitment within the sports apparel sector. We wish to strike similar deals with leading football teams worldwide.”
Arsenal Football Club is a professional football club based in Holloway, London which currently plays in the Premier League. It is one of the most successful clubs in English football and has won 13 First Division and Premier League titles and a joint record 11 FA Cups.
Arsenal has one of the highest incomes and largest fanbases in the world. The club was named the fifth most valuable association football club in the world, valued at £1.3 billion in 2014.
Riot, as part of the deal, will introduce a wide range of products across categories like t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, boxers, polos and track pants which will be available in trendy colours for men.
The Arsenal merchandise and apparels will be available at the major leading departmental stores, Riot stores along with e-commerce portals. The price range of the apparels starts from Rs.499 to Rs. 2,099.
