The Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with Ottobock, Germany to make affordable state-of-art lower limb prosthetic systems in India. The MoU was signed by DR Sarin, CMD, ALIMCO and Bernard O’Keeffe, Managing Director, Ottobock India, an official release said. The MoU will also enable technology transfer from the German firm to ALIMCO to produce advanced prosthetic systems.
