Divi's Laboratories Ltd's net profit increased 19.8 per cent at Rs 103 crore on standalone basis in the first quarter ended June 30, 2011, compared with Rs 86 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The total revenue of the Hyderabad-based company increased 36 per cent at Rs 365 crore (Rs 269 crore). The earnings per share stood at Rs 7.73 (Rs 6.53), the company said in a release issued here on Saturday. Divi's Special Economic Zone unit in Visakhapatnam commenced commercial operations on June 1, 2011.
The compensation committee of the board of directors in its meeting held on Friday allotted 26,520 equity shares of Rs 2 each to the employees under employee stock options scheme, the Bombay Stock Exchange was informed.
