Country Inn & Suites by Carlson — a hotel brand owned by the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group — announced its rebranding to Radisson Gurugram, Udyog Vihar. With revamped amenities, the hotel now has 200 upgraded rooms.

“Delhi NCR is a key market for us and Gurugram remains a promising destination due to its thriving corporate suburb. We appreciate the investment that the owners have made in upgrading this hotel and the trust they have demonstrated in the Radisson brand,” said Raj Rana, Chief Executive Officer, South Asia, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group

The hotel will cater largely to the corporate segment. Radisson has also renovated the banquet hall and created a few rooms for smaller functions.

On the rebranding of the hotel, Rana said the Country Inn and Suites chain has been successful in the mid-scale segment, while Radisson is a well-known upscale brand.

As the owners were investing to upgrade the hotel, Radisson saw the fit and so we went for it, he said.

While talking about the hotel’s USP, Rana said the location is the key for Radisson. It provides quick and easy access to the airport and is located amid the city’s corporate, entertainment and shopping districts.
