IndianOil will expand its refining capacity at Panipat refinery to 20.2 million tonne per annum, said Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, on Sunday.
The expansion to 20.2 mtpa is being planned at a cost of ₹15,000 crore.
Pradhan was visiting the refinery on Sunday and emphasised on the need for effective integration of the refinery operations with petrochemicals and their positive contribution to develop the downstream industries in the region.
