Four-star hospitality property Golkonda Hotel has announced the completion of its Rs 30-crore renovation project and tie up with Worldhotels hospitality brand.

“This association will put Golkonda Hotel in Worldhotels network and enable them to have access to its customers. Part of the German holding company IHS, Worldhotels currently is associated with over 500 properties across 250 locations,” said Ms Christina Spykerman, Senior Director of Sales, Worldhotels.

She said more than 32 million customers say in properties associated by Worldhotels every year. This new addition will help expand this, she added.

Mr Akesh Bhatnagar, General Manager of Golkonda Hotel, said that the 22-year-old property has gone in for a major renovation and now presents itself in a new avatar while retaining all its original traits.

This association will help us to access a larger wider range of potential customers, he said. With this tie up, the hotel will comply with the brand standards of Worldhotels in product and services and benefit from access to 32 sales offices globally and a clientele from across the world.

Ms Spykerman said Golkonda Hotel will also have access to the IHS Group companies and their specialised offerings including hospitality training and software that facilitates bookings and other aspects of hotel management.
