Hindustan Copper Ltd, the state-owned copper producer, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Union Ministry of Mines fixing the performance parameters and targets for the year 2012-13.
The MoU, signed between Mr Vishwapati Trivedi, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, and Mr Shakeel Ahmed, CMD of Hindustan Copper, last week fixed the ore production target for 2012-13 at 16 per cent higher over the current year’s projected production of 34.5 lakh tonnes.
