The country's second largest passenger car manufacturer Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) on Wednesday launched its iconic premium compact -- the new 2018 Elite i20 -- priced between Rs 5.35 lakh and Rs 9.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new Elite i20 embodies Hyundai's Modern Premium offering for global customers. Hyundai also unveiled its global electric vehicle -- Ioniq -- a symbol of Hyundai's commitment to the future of mobility, the company said.
"The Elite i20 has been a global success with over four-lakh happy customers since its launch in 2014. The new Elite i20 is a product of our continuous R&D efforts to bring out a premium, sporty and stylish design equipped with hi-tech, convenience features offering uncompromised safety along with advanced dynamics," Y.K. Koo, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, HMIL, said here at the launch.
The latest model is aesthetically designed with premium interiors and modern looks that make it truly appealing, he added.
