Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) has reported a net profit of Rs 175.33 crore for the fourth quarter of financial year 2017-2018. This is 31 per cent higher than Rs 133.5 crore bottomline reported for the comparable quarter ended March 2017.
During the period, IGL has registered a gross turnover of Rs 1,347 crore compared with Rs 1,100 crore in the corresponding period of the financial year 2016-2017, showing a growth of 22 per cent.
There has been a 11 per cent overall sales volume growth. CNG sales volume jumped 10 per cent and PNG sales volume 15 per cent.
For the financial year 2017-2018, the company’s gross turnover has grown to Rs 5,053 crore from Rs 4,206 crore. Net profit has shown a growth of 18 per cent to Rs 671 crore from Rs 570 crore on higher volumes.
