Kanan Devan, the heritage tea brand in Kerala, in association with Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, has undertaken a noble initiative to fight cancer. The initiative focuses on contributing Re1 each from the sale of Kanan Devan 250 gm pack towards the treatment of cancer affected patients.
India has the highest number of cancer affected patients and many succumb to this disease due to lack of proper diagnosis and treatment. This initiative takes forward Kanan Devan's integral philanthropic belief — ‘Winning challenges with a smile for 25 years' and also celebrates the spirit of Onam, Mr Vikram Grover, Head Marketing, Tata Global Beverages said.
