LG Electronics India on Tuesday unveiled an 84-inch 3D TV priced at Rs 17 lakh, which would be available in the country from next month.
The 84-inch Ultra HD 3D TV would be available from November 1, LG Electronics India said in a statement.
LG Electronics India (LGEIL) MD Soon Kwon said the company is targeting a business of 1,000 crore from 3D TVs and aims to consolidate its position in the flat panel TV segment with 30 per cent market share and 45 per cent share in 3D TV.
“We have an aggressive marketing strategy with a target investment of Rs 100 crore in flagship product communication accompanied by experiential marketing campaigns,” Kwon added.
The company said it will showcase the 84-inch TV at Home Electronics Show, which is being held here from October 26-28.
Meanwhile, to tap the ongoing festive season, Samsung India Electronics today introduced a new LED TV - 75ES9000, priced at Rs 7.5 lakh.
