Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit has launched 'Timeless’, a diamond jewellery line, in association with Pune-based PNG Jewellers for whom she is a brand ambassador.
The new line that will cost anywhere from Rs 1 lakh to a few crore rupees, will be retailed through boutique stores in seven Indian cities as well as overseas in Los Angeles and Dubai where the 184-year-old jeweller has a presence. The first such boutique has been opened at the JW Marriott in Pune.
“Timeless manifests the emotions, the facets and the diverse traits of the feminine identity. Each piece of jewellery has a story and speaks volumes. The Marquise cut represents the feminine diva in you, the Teardrop is a symbol of love and longing, the round cut represents a loving and nurturing mother, the trillion cut manifests the grace of a dancer and the princess cut is the symbol of an ambitious, modern woman,” Madhuri said.
Saurabh Gadgil, Managing Director PNG Jewellers, said the jewellery, in the designing of which Madhuri took a personal interest, would be made at their design studio in Mumbai.
The first collection comprises 40 pieces, he said, adding that work on the second collection, due for launch later this year, was underway.
