NTPC Limited has reported a ₹ 2588.14 crore net profit for the first quarter of financial year 2018-2019. This is 1.15 per cent lower than the ₹ 2618.17 crore net profit reported by the company in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.
The total revenue for the company stood at ₹ 22839.98 crore during the quarter under consideration. This is a rise of 11.19 per cent compared to the ₹ 20541.93 crore total revenue reported in the first quarter of the last financial year.
The company reported an average tariff of ₹ 3.36 a unit during the first quarter of financial year 2018-2019.
