Nuance Transcription Services is looking to hire 1000 Medical Language Specialists (MLS) and take the headcount at its facility in Coimbatore to 1600.
The company is also looking to relocate and move to a new premise at Gandhipuram here. “We will shift to the new premises in the next fortnight,” a company spokesperson preferring anonymity told Business Line.
The company has in the meanwhile organised a recruitment drive at The Residency here on September 21.
The drive is being held just ahead of its expansion plans in India and the spokesperson perceives that the company would be able to add the required numbers within the next 18 months.
The company has invested close to Rs 45 cr in India. It has established in presence in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Coimbatore.
The company's total direct headcount in India is said to be around 4500 and almost double this number account for indirect engagement with Nuance Transcription Services
