PFC has reported a 33 per cent increase in its second quarter 2012-13 net profit. The public sector company clocked profit after tax of Rs 1,084 crore during July-September 2012 against Rs 812 crore in the same month of the previous year.
Sanctions have increased by 101 per cent to Rs 30,550 crore in the second quarter of the current fiscal against Rs 15,163 crore in the corresponding period last year. At the same time, disbursements shot up by 19 per cent to Rs 9,672 crore in the second quarter of the current fiscal against Rs 8,135 crore last year.
