The first three episodes of Satyamev Jayate reached out to nearly 33 crore television viewers across India , according to estimates by Star India. It has extrapolated the ratings put out by TV audience measurement company TAM, which had estimated viewership for original and repeat airings over the first three weeks at 9.7 crore to arrive at this figure. It says it has extrapolated it “as per industry conversions”.
In a statement, the broadcaster said that according to the TAM data for week 21, Satyamev Jayate's viewership rating stood at 4.6 in the Hindi speaking markets. Its national television viewership rating stood at 3.9 (All 4+, All India). Mr Sanjay Gupta, COO, Star India, said, “The show has reached out to 1 in 3 Indians with a message of hope and has sparked stories of change at a personal and societal level.” —
