Tronx Motors, a Smartron company, has launched a smart crossover electric bike, Tronx One priced at Rs 49,999.
Tronx Motors, earlier known as Volta Motors, was founded to redefine the commuting experience by introducing autonomous, artificial intelligence and IoT technologies enabled electric vehicles.
Tronx One is Smartron’s first step towards building the Tronx Motors vertical coupled with the company’s own tronXTM ecosystem. As part of the tronXTM portfolio, Smartron has already launched mobile, computer and wearable devices in the past and is now entering a new EV vertical.
Mahesh Lingareddy, Founder and Chairman, Smartron said, “Through Tronx Motors, our vision is to extend tronXTM, our intelligent and connected platform to automotive industry and disrupt the commute experience that has been pretty much the same for almost a century. Commuting experience of future as we see it is not only Electric but also Connected and Autonomous.”
The e-bike is open for pre-orders and shipping will start on the July 16 for the first batch of consumers who have pre-booked the bike.
It features a smart display and a lightweight and detachable 36 V 13.6 Ah Lithium 500 W battery along with a 250W rear hub motor delivers a power packed experience to the users.
Tronx One Claims a range of 50 Km on continuous throttle mode per charge and 70-85 Kms on electronic gear Assist Mode per charge.
Tronx Motors has partnered with service and care partners across 9 select cities.
