The rupee rose marginally by 3 paise to Rs 45.09 against the US dollar in early trade at the Interbank Foreign Exchange on Monday, supported by gains made by other currencies against the greenback.
Forex dealers said a higher opening in the stock market and dollar weakness against other currencies bolstered the rupee sentiment.
The rupee had ended 4 paise higher at 45.12/13 against the US dollar in the previous session on fag-end selling of dollars by corporates and banks. — PTI
