Weak rupee kept edible oils steady despite limited demand amid bearish futures. On the BCE, soya oil declined by ₹2 and groundnut, rapeseed oil increase by ₹5 per 10 kg each. During the day, Liberty sold about 300 tonnes of palmolein at ₹725 and Allana sold 400 tonnes at ₹722. About 300 tonnes of palmolein were resold at ₹717-722. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin rose to ₹1,330 (1,310) and loose (10 kg) was up at ₹820 (810). BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 875 (870), soya ref. 763 (765), sunflower exp. ref. 700 (700), sunflower ref. 760 (760), rapeseed ref. 800 (795), rapeseed exp. ref. 770 (765), cottonseed ref. 770 (770) and palmolein 722 (722).
