South Eastern Railway registered eight per cent growth in passenger traffic in the month of April 2012 on a year-on-year basis.
Close to 22.57 million passengers travelled in the month of April, as against 20.99 million passengers same period last year.
According to a press statement, South Eastern Railway witnessed 12 per cent rise in income from passenger traffic to Rs 94.63 crore in April this year, as against Rs 84.73 crore last year.
