South Central Railway has registered a 23 per cent increase in its gross earnings, including freight, so far this year.
Its earnings stood at Rs 11,764 crore compared with Rs 9,589 crore registered during the same period last fiscal.
Its cumulative freight loading during the period stood at 105.92 million tonnes against 96.89 mt carried during the corresponding period of last year.
