The 124th meeting of State Level Bankers' Committee, Himachal Pradesh, recently convened by UCO Bank, has earmarked a 24 per cent hike in Plan outlay under the Annual Credit Plan 2012-13 for the State to Rs 9,348 crore.
The meeting was inaugurated by Mr Sudripta Roy, Chief Secretary to Himachal Pradesh Government, and chaired by Mr S. Chandrasekharan, Executive Director, UCO Bank.
Giving his inaugural address, Mr Roy appreciated the banks for their achievement under Annual Credit Plan 2011-12.
He also applauded banks for time-bound implementation of financial inclusion plan, issuance of kisan credit cards to farmers and improvement in CD ratio in districts having critically low CD ratio by formulating strategies and action plan in synergy with local potentials.
