The State Web portal and 47 other domains under the Web and New Media Section of the Department of Information and Public Relations (I&PRD) have been successfully migrated to the State Data Centre, according to Mr M. Nandakumar, Director, I&PRD.
This has been done to conform to the directive from the Centre that all Government Web sites should mandatorily be hosted within the country, Mr Nandakumar said.
The State Government portal, www.kerala.gov.in , and related sub-domains were until now hosted by Canadian servers. These have now been shifted to the State Dat Centre set up under the State IT Mission.
