The Janata Party President, Dr Subramanian Swamy, has said that he will move a special application before the Supreme Court on March 1, where he will bring the national security angle involved in the 2G scam.
Dr Swamy, who was in Mangalore for a talk on “2G Spectrum,” told presspersons that thenational security angle came up before the criminal court on February 22.
“But the Central Bureau of Investigation claimed that it did not have the details I had. I have agreed to give the details,” he said.
To a query on JPC probe into 2G scam, Dr Swamy said that JPC is fact-finding body. Facts have already been found. However, he had no problem in its probe.
Terming the 2G scam as the biggest one, he said nearly Rs 60,000 crore have been paid as bribe to politicians involved in the scam. On black money in Swiss banks, he said it is very easy to bring back the money. The Government has to pass an Ordinance nationalising the bank accounts of Indians in Swiss banks.
If the Government is determined, then the money can be brought back to India in one month, he said. The talk on 2G spectrum was organised by the Citizens Council, Mangalore.
