The dream of over 10,000 unemployed youngsters to get jobs would be fulfilled when the Cyber Park, at Eramam Pullupara in the district, becomes a reality, Chief minister, Mr V. S. Achuthanandan said here .
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for the Cyber Park, he said over 1,000 people would be directly employed in the first phase.
Mr Achuthanandan said the northern part of Kerala was witnessing fast development, with projects like the Ezhimala Naval Academy, the largest in Asia, Kannur airport and the waterways between Kottappuram and Nileeswaram. Work on the Cyber Park at Kozhikode, which will be a landmark project in Malabar region, had started, he said.
