Infotech Enterprises (Europe) Ltd has been picked by JT for the deployment of an integrated GIS solution to support the rollout of a Fibre-To-The Home (FTTH) network in Jersey (off the coast of France) in Europe.
JT is replacing the copper network there with a new FTTH infrastructure by 2016. “This will allow the 90,000 people in the island to have access to ultra-fast broadband connectivity as well as ultra-high-definition television” the company said here in a statement.
JT is a provider of data services, including hosting and e-gaming, in the Channel Islands.
