Many organisations are increasingly adopting enterprise mobility solutions, with nearly about 30 per cent having deployed at least one unified communications solution.
These solutions include customer relationship management (CRM) and sales force automation solutions, according to a study on enterprise mobility adoption in India.
The report — by Nasdaq-listed IT firm Citrix in association with Zinnov Management Consulting — analyses the current penetration of enterprise mobility solutions in Indian enterprises.
To keep pace with the changing and current scenarios, large enterprises and small and medium businesses are mobilising enterprise applications.
The research was conducted with 130 IT and business stakeholders in 65 organisations across India.
However, the potential is marred by inhibitors such as security and data breach, integration issues, regulatory compliance and high-cost among others, according to the study.
