Aptech and Microsoft Corporation Pvt Ltd announced a strategic global alliance on Tuesday to integrate the licensed Microsoft educational content with Aptech curriculum.

With the alliance, Aptech plans to assist aspiring information technology students, professionals, software developers and businesses to gain skills and certifications on industry relevant Microsoft technologies and products.

Aptech and Microsoft, with this partnership, intend to train and certify over 1.5 lakh students by 2015 on leading Microsoft technologies. They also plan to reach out to other global markets where Aptech has a presence such as Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia and Africa among others.

A partnership that combines course content from Microsoft Learning and structured learning methodologies in the network of Aptech centres, will go a long way in addressing this demand,” said Microsoft Learning's General Manager, Alison Cunard.

With this partnership with Microsoft, Aptech Computer Education's flagship career programs such as ACCP, and Smart Professional will now have Microsoft Technology Learning Content integrated into their course offering.

The alliance is also intended towards benefiting Aptech's specialised training arm in hardware and networking called N-Power, by having Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server 2008, Vista, Microsoft Exchange Server 2008, SQL Server 2008, Microsoft Virtualization and Microsoft Certifications.

The new integrated programs would be available in across over 300 Aptech Computer Education centres and over 60 N-Power Centres in India. Aptech would also be introducing this program in over 200 training centres in other countries in a phased manner.
