BSNL has got a certification from SAP for hosting its services in India in its data centres.
The assessment includes the entire service offering from physical infrastructure to policies and procedures and overal ability to deliver a mission critical service backed by service level agreements (SLAs), the company said in a statement.
As a SAP certified provider of hosting services, BSNL Internet Data Centre can perform a range of IT services related to SAP applications, from initial proof of concepts to full deployment of SAP solutions for client, the statement added.
BSNL has an alliance with Dimension Data to provide data centre services in India. This resulted in building of six strategic data centres across the country.
