Cafe Coffee Day (CCD) is planning to introduce a mobile app for its customers.
The app, which is built on the LAPP (Loyalty, Analytics, Payment and Personalisation) platform, aims to profile the customers better and track their consumption behaviour and trends.
The company has informed the BSE that it would tentatively roll out the app within the next 30 days in Karnataka and the pan India roll out will happen within three months.
This mobile wallet is expected to be available on Android phones.
While the effort is aimed at helping the company broaden its customers base, enhance its visibility and brand image notwithstanding the new communication channel, the mobile wallet integration is expected to help customers take the cashless transaction route.
Going forward, the company plans to make the app available on iOS platform, help pre-order (ordering from menu and pick up from store) and integrate it with social media.
