The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-Hyderabad) will organise an intensive two-week Hardware Product Prototyping Accelerator programme for early stage start-ups.
“The accelerator will help the start-ups to transform their early prototype into a functional product prototype and check if their products are addressing a real need,” a statement from the centre has said.
Through the accelerator, start-ups can craft better solutions by learning from early, and inexpensive mistakes before taking their products to the market and validate their products costs faster driven by Lean tools and methodologies.
“The centre will work with TMOT (The Makers of Things) and Collab House to combine makerspace infrastructure with rapid prototyping concepts, industry mentors and skill sets that are essential for early stage start-ups to test, refine, and improve their early prototype,” it said.
