Infosys has extended its partnership with Microsoft. As a part of this strategy, Infosys will offer Finacle, its banking solution on the Windows Azure platform, which is a cloud computing technology used by global enterprises. The Finacle software will be offered on the cloud and this offering will allow banks to operate at lower costs and with greater agility, Infosys said in a statement. Michael Reh, Senior VP and Global Head, Finacle, Infosys said: “Finacle on Azure will offer significant flexibility to banks to design their cloud approach.”
