Sistema Shyam TeleServices has announced a service for students who have appeared for Pre-University Class (PUC) and Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations conducted by Karnataka State Board.
About 15 lakh students have appeared for the state board exams this year.
According to Mr Suresh Kumar, Chief Operating Officer, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh circle, MTS India, “We at MTS have launched a service for them to get their results by just sending the roll number prefixed with the examination type to 58888 and register themselves. Once the State Education Board announces the result, all registered students will receive their result via SMS at a minimal cost of Rs 3 an SMS. Students who have not registered can also avail this service after the result is announced and can get the result details instantly. They just need to send an SMS in the same format and the result details will be published on their mobile.”
