Dr Javad K.Hassan, Chairman, NeST Group of companies, has opined that given the diverse and challenges India faces, the country will have to evolve its own strategies for effectively utilising technology as a growth driver.
It would only be through gigantic technology developments that India can move forward on the path to being a global player, he said at a meeting organised jointly by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce and Kerala Management Association on technology applications.
Other economies
He spoke about the application of technology in the functioning of other major world economies, including those of the US and China, and shared his views on the key lessons which India could learn from the experiences of these economies.
