Indian mobile advertising platform InMobi partnered with Microsoft to aid marketers in mobile advertising using advanced technology such as AI through cloud platform.

With this partnership, InMobi will move in a phased manner to Microsoft Azure as its preferred cloud provider. It will tap into the artificial intelligence capabilities of Azure platform to provide marketing insights to the consumers, according to a press release.

“As digital technology is transforming every industry and every aspect of our lives, companies are seeking new ways to engage customers where they are, with connected, personalised experiences,” said Satya Nadella, CEO, Microsoft in the press statement. “The combination of Microsoft Azure with InMobi’s marketing platforms will deliver new intelligent customer experiences and business insights to organisations around the world,” he added.

In addition, InMobi is also expanding its platform for marketers via the InMobi Marketing Cloud. The Marketing Cloud will enable marketers to get a 360-degree view of every customer and uncovering insights that help them design better customer engagement, action and measurement.

The two companies are also looking at additional opportunities in combining InMobi’s advertising and Marketing Cloud capabilities with Microsoft Dynamics 365 on the back of the global Azure infrastructure, including AI, machine learning and analytics.

The companies will also work in close cooperation on the go-to-market approach, offering these integrated advertising and marketing solutions to Microsoft’s global enterprise client base. The InMobi Marketing Cloud will be sequentially launched market-wise worldwide over the next six months.
