Handset maker Micromax Informatics Ltd has partnered with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) for free data and voice call plans with Micromax’s smartphones. Under the partnership, six Micromax devices will be bundled with the BSNL offers. The two companies will extend reverse bundling handset offers of free data usage of up to 2GB per quarter for 12 months. The offer will also include 500 minutes of free voice calls (for BSNL to BSNL calls) each quarter for one year with an activation plan voucher of ₹153. “BSNL’s association with Micromax will create immense opportunities for customers by offering them high speed 3G data. BSNL has already provided 3G coverage in more than 2,300 cities and towns of India and is committed to provide 3G coverage to additional towns,” AN Rai, Chairman and Managing Director, BSNL, said.
