Chicago-based Netrix LLC has acquired two Kochi-based IT companies Ideamine Technologies and Empressem Technologies. The acquisitions were made for an undisclosed amount.
Netrix, which started operation in 1989, has its presence in 11 metro areas in the US and employs more than 450 people. The company has expertise in network infrastructure, security systems services, unified communications, mobility, cloud and managed services, hardware and software development and services. The company has an office in Pune, which was acquired recently.
Ideamine Technologies, which started operation in 2007, is one of the pioneers in server management. The company ventured into cloud service in the same year at a time when it was not so popular.
In 2013, the company entered into a partnership with Amazon Web Services. It offer services for Azure, Google cloud, magneto hosting, cloud strategy and implementation, remote serve management, windows server management, Linux server management and outsourced Web hosting support.
Empressem Technologies was set up in 2010 and it offers services such as mobile application development, iOS Application Development, Android Application Development, Augmented Reality Applications, Enterprise Mobility Solutions, IoT Solutions, Web Application Development, Applications Platforms, Cloud, Web Technologies, and Rest Soap among others.
